He brings focused expertise in Income Tax audits, regulatory compliance, and business financing advisory, supporting businesses in maintaining financial discipline and meeting statutory requirements.
His professional work is strongly centered around Income Tax audit assignments, where he assists businesses in ensuring proper documentation, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with applicable tax provisions. He has been actively involved in handling audit engagements that require detailed examination of financial records and identification of irregularities, helping clients strengthen their compliance framework.

CA Jay Makwana is the Founding Partner of J M V C & Associates, Chartered Accountants. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2024 and has developed strong professional expertise in tax litigation and advisory services.
His core areas of practice include Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Service Tax matters, where he assists clients in handling tax disputes, assessments, and compliance issues. He has represented clients before various tax authorities, providing strategic representation, drafting submissions, and handling litigation matters.
In addition to his litigation practice, CA Jay Makwana has experience in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits across different sectors. His professional work also includes filing income tax returns and statutory forms, stock audits, certification assignments, and assisting businesses in project financing and financial documentation.
Post qualification, he also worked as a Forensic Research Analyst with Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, where he was involved in financial research, analysis of corporate financial statements, and identification of financial irregularities through forensic techniques. This experience strengthened his analytical skills and enhanced his ability to interpret financial data critically.
